Requirements

Circa 3-5 years of experience in installing, maintaining & repairing fire doors as a Fire Door Joiner, Fire Door Installer, Fire Door Fitter, Fire Door Installation Engineer or equivalent
Developed IT skills (eg Excel, Word etc)
FIRAS Accredited
NVQ Level 2 in Joinery
CSCS skills card
Successful applicants must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
Full & ideally clean UK driving licence
Must have full right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship

Job Responsibility

Installing, maintaining, and repairing fire doors to ensure our clients meet fire safety regulations
Conduct fire door inspections and report on compliance
Carry out repairs and replacements where necessary
Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Ensure work is completed safely and to the highest standard

Ability for rotational basis on-call duties and occasional overnight travel as needed
A minimum of four (4) years of field experience installing and programming electronic security systems for medium- to large-sized jobs

Job Responsibility

Manage several medium- to large-sized jobs simultaneously, doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances
Assist the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment
Drive to client sites with a company-issued vehicle to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirements
The role supports Orange, San Diego, Inland Empire and Los Angeles Counties
Supervise several teams comprised of Security Installation Technician I’s and II’s
Installation of electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices
Troubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes
Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installation
Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, ect.)
