Job Responsibility

Installation of Standard Details to manufacture guidelines and Betterment practices
Installation and Maintenance of Fire Stopping Penetrations, Linear Gaps, Cavity Barriers, Pipe Collars and Wraps, Fireline Flexible walls and Ceilings, Fire rated over boxes, fire rated Bulkheads etc
Covering the East Anglia area, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridge, Peterborough and Hertfordshire
Working within a team and lone working on various social housing, M.O.D, healthcare and Education sites for various clients
Trouble shooting issues and rectifying to compliant standards and best practice

Job Responsibility

Installing certified fire doorsets in line with manufacturer guidance and approved standards (including Q-Mark and Certifire systems)
Maintaining and remediating certified and notional fire doorsets, including re-lipping, closers, signage and associated fire stopping
Carrying out works in compliance with FIRAS / BM TRADA standards and fire safety regulations
Troubleshooting non-compliant installations and rectifying defects to compliant standards
Accurately recording works using fire evidence and quality assurance systems
Working safely and professionally within occupied buildings at all times
Delivering work across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridge, Peterborough and Hertfordshire

Assist the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment
Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installation
Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, ect.)
Troubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes

Supervise several teams comprised of Security Installation Technician I's and II's
Manage several medium- to large-sized jobs simultaneously, doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances
Drive to client sites with a company-issued vehicle to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirements
Installation of electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices
Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager
