Job Description:

A specialist fire safety provider is seeking a Fire Door Inspector to join their growing inspection team. This Fire Door Inspector position would suit a detail-focused Fire Door Inspector looking to work across residential, healthcare, education and commercial buildings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect fire doors
  • Record defects
  • Produce clear reports
  • Ensure works are assessed against relevant standards
  • Work closely with clients, contractors and internal fire safety teams to support compliance across varied portfolios

Requirements:

  • Experience inspecting fire doors or working in passive fire protection
  • Knowledge of BM TRADA, FIRAS, FDIS or relevant fire door standards
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A practical understanding of fire safety compliance
