Job Description

We are recruiting Fire Alarm Service Technicians on behalf of a well established company for their branch location in the Fort Myers, FL area. This branch is an Edwards distributor and provides integrated solutions for commercial fire alarm systems and low voltage systems in Central and South Florida.

Job Responsibility

  • Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and system upgrades, including checking wiring, batteries, detectors, and control panels
  • Diagnose service issues and respond to repair calls, completing work independently with minimal supervision
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to support accurate installation and system integration
  • Maintain detailed service records, follow all safety standards and regulations, and use required PPE and proper tools at all times

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, and programming of fire alarm systems required
