We are currently seeking a Fintech/Payments Lawyer to work with various Axiom clients across all industries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including partnership, supply, referral, reseller, and technology service contracts
  • Advise on regulatory compliance for financial services and technology transactions, identifying and escalating potential issues across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support SaaS, Cloud, and tech-related deals, ensuring contractual terms align with data protection, operational resilience, and service-level requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to structure agreements that balance commercial objectives with regulatory obligations and risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments (UK, EU, and global) impacting outsourcing, digital transformation, and cross-border service delivery

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background and eligibility to practice as a UK Solicitor or equivalent overseas qualification with relevant UK experience
  • Proven ability to manage complex commercial contracting, including drafting and negotiating agreements for technology and financial services
  • Expertise in SaaS, Cloud, and FS regulatory frameworks, including data governance and operational resilience
  • Experience providing practical, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders under time-sensitive conditions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on delivering commercially viable and compliant solutions
