As a Fintech Analyst, you will be part of an entire project's life from a Quantitative side, starting from the customers’ business requirements through the development phase to the delivery and post-delivery customer’s assistance. Being part of the Fintech’s Project means you will be focused on the development of custom solutions and models in the field of credit risk on the client’s side, as well as on internal developments, to create new models or enhance modefinance’s internal models and methodologies. The models developed by modefinance Fintech team range from credit scoring models to probability of default models, pricing models, credit limit models and many other. Recently, the company is focused on leveraging of the use of alternative data to boost the “forecasting and nowcasting” degree of all of its models and methodologies.
Job Responsibility:
Actively participate in the models development
Write documentation on the developed models in support to the customers
Handle the application of advanced numerical methodologies in the field of credit risk
Interact with modefinance’s IT department and learn new IT technologies
Become responsible for entire projects, once sufficiently experienced
Requirements:
Master degree (EQF lvl 7) in Scientific studies (i.e. physics, engineering, natural sciences or statistical sciences, quantitative finance)
At least a B2 level in English
Good knowledge of as many among the following programming languages: Python, Matlab, R, Stata, C++
Able to teamwork proficiently and have a target-oriented attitude
Demonstrate interest in credit risk analysis, pricing and other financial topics
Nice to have:
Previous experience in a B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment, with a track record of business analysis
Advanced knowledge of as many among the following programming languages: Python, Matlab, R, Stata, C++
Basic knowledge of financial statements and credit risk
