12 month contract with 2 x 12 months extension. Canberra based. Australian Citizens ONLY. NV1 required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and manage whole of life cycle costs and cost models (workloads into a multi-cloud environment), Defence resources including interdependencies and Government Furnished Material/Equipment
  • Consult with Cloud providers and stakeholders to develop FinOps models, procedures, processes, policies, and other relevant artefacts, leading to the development and implementation of FinOps automation tools
  • Data analysis and normalisation, to support cost estimate development, independent review and analysis of cost estimates and program reviews
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on cost estimation policy, guidance, processes, methods, tools and training to improve cost estimation and analysis

Requirements:

  • Develop independent cost estimates and undertake analysis for Defence workloads migrating to the multi-cloud environment and support cloud hosting decisions
