Job Description:

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Finishing Foreman to join our site team in Ramsgate. You'll be the bridge between a busy construction site and a high-end finished product, ensuring every unit meets our rigorous quality standards before the keys are handed over.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the final stages of the build-from second fix through to CML and legal completion
  • Leading and motivating internal trades and subcontractors (painters, joiners, masticers, etc.) to hit deadlines
  • Conducting thorough inspections, generating punch lists, and ensuring every item is closed out promptly
  • Implementing a "Right First Time" culture on-site to reduce rework
  • Ensuring all finishing works are carried out in a safe, organized environment
  • Occasionally liaising with purchasers during home tours to ensure a smooth handover experience

Requirements:

  • A relentless focus on detail and a passion for high-quality aesthetics
  • A proven track record as a Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager on residential schemes (apartments or housing)
  • The ability to be firm but fair with trades
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card (Gold/Black preferred)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Trade background (Joinery or Painting/Decorating is a major plus)
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
