Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented Finisher with a high standard of workmanship? We are looking for an experienced tradesperson to join a new build housing site in Hessle for a contract role. This is a critical position focused on the final stages of the build, ensuring every plot is handed over in 'show-home' condition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completing final internal snagging lists to a high standard
  • Adjusting doors, ironmongery, and kitchen units
  • Fixing minor timber defects, skirting, and architrave touch-ups
  • Mastic/silicone application to kitchens and bathrooms
  • Ensuring all plots are 'customer-ready' and defect-free
  • Working closely with the Site Manager to meet strict handover deadlines

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred)
  • Proven experience in finishing and snagging on new build housing sites
  • A full suite of your own tools (including cordless kit and fine finishing tools)
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots)
  • Reliability and a professional manner when working on-site
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
