Job Description:

Woodmeister is a high-end residential builder and millwork company providing fine-quality renovations, custom cabinetry, architectural woodworking, and new home construction for discerning clientele. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled carpenter to perform general construction duties at job sites in both city and suburban locations. Our projects range from renovations to new home construction. In this role, you will work with other Woodmeister employees and subcontractors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Construct, install, and repair high-end structures and fixtures
  • Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements and compliance with building and safety codes and regulations
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools
  • Deliver high-quality craftsmanship that exceeds customer’s expectations

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in high-end residential work
  • Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and instructions
  • Must be able to perform physical labor
  • Must have valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company-owned vehicle
  • Travel up to 50% within state and out of state required, sometimes for weeks/months at a time
