Job Responsibility

Maintain clean and tidy communal areas through spot cleaning such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and litter picking

Use cleaning machinery such as jet washers or steam cleaners for deep cleaning tasks (training provided if needed)
Carry out minor internal and external property repairs of a basic or semi-skilled nature

Maintain operational integrity of equipment by performing pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily equipment reports. Take prompt actions to facilitate any repairs needed to safely operate the equipment. Exercise stop work authority if the equipment cannot be made safe to operate
Regularly communicate with project/site management to provide up to date information on work status
Meet with utility companies to verify that locations are clear of underground utilities and conduct any required inspections
Attend and participate in project meetings, including client and subcontractor meetings
May act as a dispatcher or coordinator to lower-level remediation construction teams, scheduling work and maintaining production with equipment assigned to staff
Identify existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate the hazards
