Job Description:

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Systems Manager with deep expertise in NetSuite and adjacent systems. This role plays a critical part in partnering with the Accounting and Finance teams to design, implement, and optimize financial systems that enable operational efficiency and scalable growth. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with a clear understanding of accounting and finance processes and thrives on bridging business needs with system capabilities. Collaboration and coordination with other departments will be frequent to align on evolving business needs. This role will report directly to the Director, Accounting Operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage the financial systems landscape, including NetSuite and adjacent systems including but not limited to FloQast, Navan, Expensify, Brex
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to NetSuite and adjacent systems
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Treasury, HR, IT, Security, and other teams as needed to identify opportunities for process and system improvements
  • Lead end-to-end project management for system implementations and process improvement initiatives, including planning, testing, training, and deployment
  • Support NetSuite modules including GL, AP, Fixed Assets, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and others as needed
  • Work to support NetSuite customizations, scripts, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems
  • Support NetSuite upgrades, UAT testing, and change management initiatives
  • Perform data analysis, build custom reports and saved searches, and support financial reporting needs
  • Support day-to-day end-user questions or requests
  • Enhance internal controls ensuring SOX compliance and readiness for IPO or public company standards
  • ensure process documentation meets audit ready standards
  • Work on different projects including implementations and acquisitions

Requirements:

  • 6 years of progressive experience in Finance systems and/or business systems
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite
  • Experience supporting NetSuite and adjacent systems in a high-growth, multi-entity, or pre-IPO environment
  • Deep understanding of NetSuite modules (GL, AP, Fixed Assets, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Accounting and Finance principles (e.g., GL, AP, Fixed Assets)
  • Proficiency in building saved searches, custom dashboards, and financial reports
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional design, and workflow optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to interact with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and data flows between Finance and other enterprise systems
  • Experience with SOX/internal controls or compliance-related system requirements

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Coupa or similar procure-to-pay system, Workday, FloQast, and Navan is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree with good GPA in Computer Science or equivalent field is a plus
