Job Description

We are preparing for significant organizational growth and expanding several functions within our accounting and finance technology teams. If you’re excited about taking on a new challenge, this role offers the opportunity to help shape the financial systems that power a scaling organization. We’re seeking a forward-thinking Financial Systems Manager who is passionate about building scalable, intuitive planning and reporting tools that empower teams to make smarter, data-driven decisions. In this role, you’ll serve as the internal subject-matter expert for Workday Adaptive Planning, driving configuration, integrations, and user enablement across the financial planning ecosystem. This is a chance to influence how the organization plans, forecasts, and reports—ensuring our systems evolve with the business and continue delivering clarity, accuracy, and efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Own & Evolve the Adaptive Planning Environment: Lead the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Workday Adaptive Planning to support budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise-wide reporting
  • Manage metadata, hierarchies, structural updates, and version control with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and reliability
  • Identify opportunities to streamline planning processes, expand modeling capabilities, and improve end-user experience
  • Strengthen Key Financial Integrations: Partner with internal technology teams to optimize integrations between Adaptive Planning and connected platforms such as Workday Financials, workforce management/payroll systems, and internal data repositories
  • Ensure smooth, timely data flows and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders
  • Support system upgrades, conduct testing of new features, and ensure seamless operations across the integrated ecosystem
  • Empower & Support System Users: Serve as a trusted advisor to FP&A and cross-functional business partners
  • Support users in building or refining reports and dashboards using Adaptive Planning and related reporting tools like OfficeConnect
  • Create clear documentation, training materials, and best-practice guidelines
  • Lead training sessions, assist with onboarding, and respond to ad-hoc reporting and system questions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A technology, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on expertise with Workday Adaptive Planning (model building, configuration, or reporting strongly preferred)
  • Comfort working within integrated financial and HR technology ecosystems, including ERP platforms, workforce/payroll systems, and enterprise data warehouses
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a focus on enabling teams and building trust
