Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated NetSuite - Financial Systems Analyst to support our growing finance and accounting operations. This role will serve as a key liaison between Accounting, Finance, and Leadership teams, focusing on financial operations, reporting, audits, and the ongoing optimization of our NetSuite environment following a recent ERP migration. The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with hands-on NetSuite experience, including reporting, CRM functionality, system customization, user adoption, and process improvements. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and driving efficiency across finance-related systems and workflows.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and saved searches within NetSuite
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, reports, and supporting documentation
  • Partner with Finance and Leadership teams to improve financial visibility and reporting capabilities
  • Act as a key stakeholder in post-NetSuite implementation initiatives, including system enhancements, integrations, user adoption, and process optimization
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements
  • Support contract review, client billing processes, revenue tracking, and engagement reporting
  • Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
  • Utilize NetSuite CRM functionality to support client engagement tracking, reporting, and operational processes
  • Assist with ERP troubleshooting, testing, documentation, training, and user support
  • Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable business insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite and/or Oracle
  • 1+ year of experience utilizing NetSuite CRM functionality
  • 2+ years of experience supporting audits and developing financial reports within NetSuite
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
  • Experience working with client engagements, contracts, billing processes, and revenue-related activities
  • Experience supporting post-ERP implementation initiatives, including customization, integration, change management, and user adoption efforts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives, finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders

Nice to have

  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite customizations, workflows, integrations, or SuiteAnalytics
  • Knowledge of SaaS, professional services, or project-based accounting environments
  • Experience with business process improvement and financial systems optimization
