Job Description:

The Allianz Technology Finance Hub in Barcelona is looking for a Financial Specialist in IT Cost Management. As Financial Specialist in the IT Cost Management unit of Allianz Technology you will be part of a global competence center in Allianz Technology to implement a structured IT productivity approach to continuously improve the cost position of Allianz Technology. Your expertise in IT cost management to control & optimize key cost drivers of the IT value chain will ensure together with Allianz Technology functions the identification and tracking of initiatives to achieve productivity improvements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the financial controlling for the key strategic transformation program in Allianz Technology
  • Interact with Allianz Technology functions to identify and maintain saving initiatives in the central tracking tool
  • Analyze the performance of optimization initiatives by comparing targets vs plan and actuals/ forecast vs. plan
  • Support the timely preparation of all materials for regular status meetings with Allianz Technology departments and for the management board as well as for steering committees with Allianz Group
  • Be the key interface of the sharepoint tracking tool/ data base and you will support the maintenance and further development of the central cost saving tracking tool solution
  • Analyze the cost categories in the IT scope, how these costs develop and what are their main drivers

Requirements:

  • Experience in business finance, controlling, or other relevant financial fields, ideally within IT
  • Work experience in controlling and reporting on key strategic cost improvement programs, consulting, or managing internal productivity initiatives
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is required
  • skills in SharePoint, VBA, and Power BI are a strong plus
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency, with a proactive problem-solving mindset and full ownership of assigned topics
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at senior management levels and work within remote teams as well as a strong team player who understands that personal growth comes with the success of the team
  • English proficiency is a must
  • Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics

Nice to have:

skills in SharePoint, VBA, and Power BI
