Ruby is Citi’s financial forecasting system that currently generates forecasts for QMMF/CCAR/Operating Plan/Risk scenarios. The role is part of the team that oversees and operates this platform. The position will serve as the lead in working with business and modelers as well as business team leads in onboarding and revising models, equations and associated data constructs into the forecast platform framework. The candidate, and the candidate’s respective team members, will engage with and support key business stakeholders during production execution of the respective forecasting processes. The role also involves working closely with the forecast platform developers on future enhancements, data improvements and transformations as the technical architecture evolves to support the changing business architecture and processes. The position will require both individual analytical work as well as partnership across teams to identify solutions to business inquiries in a timely manner and own the implementation / execution steps to independently drive key model onboarding programs and open issues to completion. Attention to detail and the ability to work within tight deadlines are essential traits. The position will be heavily involved in team decisions including work prioritization as well as future state planning and strategic direction. Key stakeholders include: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) business teams, the Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) team, the FP&A modeling teams, technical developers, forecast processing operations and forecast platform setup / project teams. The candidates will be responsible for the allocation of work of a dedicated set of staff and, from time to time, a shared set of resources.
