The Financial Solutions, Design & Implementation Sr Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of key milestones for Books and Records related to the Close process. The role requires expertise in financial operations, project management skills, transformational experience, and advanced cross-cultural communication. The person will interact extensively with business and technology partners to achieve organizational objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions
work on the execution and roll-out of the Close governance processes
support the implementation of Consent Order milestones partnering alongside the milestone owners
work with different stakeholders across businesses and functions to drive execution
support various other transformation initiatives and enterprise standards
participate in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process & controls, organization, and architecture across lines of businesses, products, functions, and locations
assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
play a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies for global Finance processes
participate in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
interact with Business Segment and Legal Entity controllers to design and implement business and regulatory solutions
partner with technology and production support counterparts to design solutions and financial applications changes
implement policies and procedures
perform multiple duties prioritization and functions as assigned
exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
act as subject matter expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and other team members
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred
communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others
experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within a finance function and how they interact with key stakeholders to achieve the goals
self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
