Financial Services Tax Manager

• Overseeing a portfolio of investment fund tax compliance with a mixture of partnership tax and corporate tax filings
• Advising clients on investment fund structuring aspects including the establishment of new funds and the remuneration of investment fund managers
• Working with our wider tax teams on direct tax, international tax, transfer pricing, VAT, R&D, etc
• Supporting our Audit team on the technical requirements and legislative regimes for various listed and regulated funds
• Growing our specialist tax services in this area, ensuring current technical knowledge is applied and shared across stakeholders in the firm and externally
• Line management of team members from either a people or operational perspective (or both)

• Holder of relevant experience in financial services or a similar role
• CA (or equivalent) qualified
• Strong tax technical awareness and an interest in private funds
• Excellent communicator with the ability to positively impact and influence others
• Great team player, focused on quality and outstanding client service
• Experience with tax software – AlphaTax and CCH (desirable)
