Job Description

Are you an ambitious finance professional ready to take on significant responsibility in client management and end-to-end project ownership? Do you thrive in a role where you can combine deep financial expertise with client advisory and leadership? If so, this could be the career-defining opportunity you've been looking for. For more than 25 years, FMC Group has been helping companies understand, enter, and expand in international markets. As a German-owned international consulting group, we support clients across multiple industries —many of them global niche leaders— in successfully managing and growing their international operations. FMC HR is looking for a German-speaking Financial Services Manager/Sr. Finance Consultant to join our experienced Financial Services team in Turkey. Financial Services has been one of the core businesses of FMC Group since 2004. This is not just another consulting role. You will take on meaningful ownership from day one — serving as the key point of contact for our international clients and taking full responsibility for the management of their finance and accounting processes end-to-end. Working closely with our current Head of Financial Services, you will gradually take on increasing responsibility from her, gaining deep insight into departmental operations and expanding your scope step by step. In this role, you will act as the essential bridge and controlling supervisor between local accountants, banks, and our international clients, ensuring seamless accounting and finance management. You will evaluate, control, and advise on complex financial matters, empowering clients to make well-informed strategic decisions across a variety of industries. Beyond client management, you will also coordinate and oversee our external solution partners, as well as provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants within the team.

  • Handle and control all finance issues, including weekly payments, all types of bank issues, payroll processing, etc.
  • Ensure legal requirements are met regarding finance and accounting transactions
  • Continue your training to stay up to date on finance and accounting topics, tax laws, and regulations

Requirements

  • Proactive work attitude, strong communication and follow up skills
  • Ability to analyse, handle and resolve recurring problems
  • Ability to think comprehensively and guide clients with alternative suggestions
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Conversant with MS Office applications

What we offer

  • Opportunity to have full control over your projects and take the initiative in all processes
  • Long-term employment in a sustainable business with personal development possibilities, gaining experience in different industries
  • A training budget allocated for your personal and professional development
  • A dynamic and friendly work environment which relies on collaboration and individual responsibility, and a team that values transparent communication and teamwork
  • A sound work-life-balance
  • Following the training period, possibility of working remotely, currently 3 days per week
