Job Responsibility:
Financial Statement Review: Oversight of qualitative reviews of fund financial statements to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting policies
Quality Standards: Maintain and continuously improve reporting quality standards across all deliverables
Disclosure & Regulatory Analysis: Lead the critical analysis of financial data, disclosures, and regulatory submissions to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance with applicable standards
Query Resolution: Respond to internal and external queries related to financial statements and disclosures, ensuring clarity and precision
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Fund Accounting, Risk, Legal, Compliance, auditors, fund administrators, and regulators to support reporting processes and resolve issues
Expertise: Act as a technical expert in accounting and regulatory matters, guiding resolution of complex issues in collaboration with SMEs
Governance & Controls: Ensure robust governance over reporting processes, including documentation, control testing, and audit readiness
Efficiency & Automation: Contribute to initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, automate processes, and improve data quality and transparency
Change Management Support: Assist in implementing reporting enhancements and system upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
4–9 years of relevant experience
CPA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified, with audit experience in investment management or financial services
Background in Mutual Funds, ETFs, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Assets, or fund administration
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Irish GAAP
Proven expertise in financial and regulatory reporting
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable handling auditor and regulator queries independently
