Requirements

Manager or Senior Manager-level experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting
Public accounting background (Big 4 or similar preferred)
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
Strong technical accounting skills including purchase accounting, accounting research, and memo writing
Proven experience supporting SEC reporting, quarter-end closes, and 10-Q filings
Prior experience providing audit support and responding to auditor inquiries
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Experience with enterprise financial reporting software and systems

Job Responsibility

Perform technical accounting research, draft memos, and address purchase accounting for M&A and other business inquiries
Support SEC reporting, including drafting financial statement footnotes, preparing and reviewing quarter-end files, and assisting with the 10-Q filing
Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance
Provide audit support by resolving auditor questions and furnishing documentation
Consult with the business on technical accounting topics and questions

Requirements

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent)
Have several years of financial reporting experience, either from external audit (Big 4/mid-tier) or from a financial reporting/technical accounting role in industry
Have strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, including experience with consolidations
Have a practical understanding of UK tax (VAT and Corporation Tax), with advisors available for technical support
Possess excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
Can communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Job Responsibility

Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements and group consolidated financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP (FRS 102)
Leading the external audit process, including coordination of deliverables, walkthroughs, and resolving audit queries
Coordinating UK tax reporting (VAT and Corporation Tax) with support from external tax consultants, and helping to improve current processes
Managing statutory filings, including submissions to Companies House,ensuring compliance and timely submissions
Supporting FP&A team with investor reporting and board materials
Supporting regulatory reporting requirements for UK and Cyprus entities, working alongside external advisors where required
Drafting and maintaining accounting policies and technical documentation
Identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes and strengthen the financial control environment
Liaising with regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and external advisors as necessary
