Job Description:

The Financial Reporting Senior Analyst will be responsible for all Financial Reporting delivered to Finance's key stakeholders which include Citibank Europe Plc's Board of Directors, Key Senior Management, Irish and EU Regulators and external and internal auditors. This includes complex IFRS consolidated Financial Statements, Prudential reporting (FinRep), Monthly Management reporting, and other various management and regulatory reports.

Job Responsibility:

Support the production and delivery of IFRS & US GAAP based Financial Statements of the Banking Chain regulated entities and regulatory reporting
Prepare and review different types of reports
reconciliations and analysis with commentary for the numerous stakeholders including senior management
Perform Data analysis from different source systems, validation, identify inconsistencies and propose solutions for anomalies found
Prepare audit support and deliverables to facilitate external annual audit exercise
Manage relationship with offshore Shared Service Centre and support the production of the Company and Group FinRep and other regulatory reporting
Communicate updates
mapping changes
impacts of new business/deals to the Shared Service Centre to enable effective reporting to the regulator
Perform various control functions within financial and regulatory reporting
Significant contribution to Finance projects and initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (CA, ACA, or equivalent) trained within a Big 4 professional services firm or multinational bank
Experience in Financial Services/Banking industry
Experience with Citi Financial Reporting systems (Pearl, Full Suite, Flexcube, Genesis, etc) and processes including BSS
Data analysis expertise
High proficiency in Excel - Comfortable with the ability to manipulate large datasets in Excel and produce analysis from different viewpoints
Strong knowledge of Banking Products (e.g., Different types of Loans/ Deposits/ Derivatives)
Financial Statements production and external audit process
Knowledge of CRDIV reporting (FinRep)
Reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders including management committees/ audit committee experience
Proven track record of working with multiple departments and global teams like Accounting Policy/ Product Control/ Risk/ Legal/ Company Secretarial
Strong knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS Accounting Standards
Ability to make decisions based on imperfect information
Problem Solver with the ability to identify gaps and propose solutions
Challenging mindset and ability to improve and make processes efficient
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Good command of English
