We are looking for a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will take on key responsibilities related to financial reporting and reconciliation, focusing on integrating newly acquired assets into consolidated models. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to a dynamic environment while leveraging their expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct working capital reconciliations, including researching discrepancies and posting necessary adjustments
Prepare and review purchase accounting entries, collaborating with the team to ensure accuracy
Update consolidated reporting models to reflect newly acquired assets, including cash flow and asset allocation adjustments
Configure and test foreign currency transactions within the consolidation model to ensure compliance
Develop and implement new cash flow requirements for foreign entities to meet additional audit standards
Assist with ongoing entries related to purchase accounting, such as intangible asset amortization
Analyze and consolidate financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards
Support goodwill impairment testing and purchase price allocation processes
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to streamline financial reporting and analysis tasks
Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve complex financial reporting challenges
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting and reconciliation
Proficiency in preparing consolidated financial statements and performing related analyses
Strong knowledge of purchase price allocation and goodwill impairment processes
Experience with foreign currency transactions and consolidation models
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling and analysis
Familiarity with preparing entries for amortization and other purchase accounting adjustments
Ability to analyze and reconcile complex financial data with precision
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
