Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Colorado. In this role, you will oversee critical financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with expertise in SEC reporting and equity transactions.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Manage annual financial reporting processes and deliver timely, high-quality reports
  • Oversee equity transaction reporting and ensure proper documentation is maintained
  • Develop and maintain control matrices to support internal financial processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and provide guidance on compliance matters
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions
  • Provide support during audits and assist in resolving any related issues
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
  • Proficiency in managing equity transactions and associated reporting
  • Strong understanding of control matrices and internal financial controls
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and auditing processes
