Job Description:

Join our expanding Citi Finance Team in Budapest and make your own progress in a supportive and friendly environment! As a Financial Reporting Junior Analyst, you will be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting related tasks required by the local regulators across the EMEA region, performing controls over the reports and submission of them in coordination with the in-country Finance Team. Key projects involve increasing efficiency in current processes and participating in system or process implementations.

Job Responsibility:

Produce daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting returns and perform period-to-period analysis on them
Reconciliation of sub-systems to primary accounting records
Substantiation of accounting records for reporting purposes
Validation and adjustment of accounting entries in the reporting ledger
Active involvement in the interpretation, tracking and implementation of the internal and external changes in report production processes including user testing and documentation of specifications
Take part in reviews and developments of current processes to increase efficiency
Participate in the new system/process implementations related to regulatory reporting requirements

Requirements:

University/College degree preferably in finance / accounting
0-1 year experience
Financial accounting or regulatory reporting background is an advantage
Knowledge of banking products and their accounting/reporting in IFRS is an advantage
Advanced MS Excel knowledge
Highly motivated with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
Fluent English knowledge
