Job Description:

The Regulatory Reporting role is an analyst position within the Controllers Organization that will report up through the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. The individual will support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies based on applicable requirements such as U.S. Regulatory and local regulatory reporting rules and instructions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to U.S. regulators
  • Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues
  • Collaborate with the team to drive process improvements
  • Assist the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations
  • Work with peers and program leaders on the implementation of U.S. regulatory changes
  • Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control's structure
  • Integrate established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area
  • Assist in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products
  • Maintain and enhance related operational reporting and analytical procedures
  • Perform variance analysis of financial results and value added analytics

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports (FR2314, FR Y-11, FFIEC030, FR2644)
  • Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Required Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Access knowledge
  • Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
