Job Responsibility
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports that highlight performance trends, key metrics, and meaningful business insights
Analyze variances across budgets, forecasts, and actual results to identify drivers and communicate findings to stakeholders
Build and maintain financial models that support planning, reporting, and operational decision-making
Gather, organize, and interpret large data sets using data mining techniques to improve reporting quality and visibility
Partner with finance and cross-functional teams to ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs
Investigate reporting discrepancies, validate source data, and recommend improvements to strengthen financial reporting processes
Support management with customized analysis and presentation materials for business reviews and strategic discussions
Requirements
Experience in financial analysis within a corporate finance, accounting, or financial services environment
Strong capability in financial modeling and interpreting quantitative data for business decision support
Proven ability to perform variance analysis and explain changes in financial results clearly and accurately
Hands-on experience producing ad hoc analysis and translating data into practical recommendations
Familiarity with data mining techniques and working with large or complex financial data sets
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, organization, and meeting deadlines
Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information to business partners and leadership
