Job Responsibility:

  • reviewing financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate records
  • utilizing various software tools to perform reconciliations and generate reports
  • collaborating closely with team members to resolve any financial issues that arise
  • supporting month-end close through accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements:

  • 3 years minimum with a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • excellent Excel skills including Pivot tables
  • performing daily reconciliation of multiple bank accounts (operating and client-specific accounts)
  • monitoring and matching cash activity including ACH, wires and checks
  • investigating and resolving discrepancies with urgency and ownership
  • reconciling payroll funding to ensure alignment between client debits
  • maintaining clear documentation and audit trails for all reconciliation activity
  • partnering with Tax and Finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • identifying trends and gaps and opportunities to strengthen financial controls
