Job Responsibility:
reviewing financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate records
utilizing various software tools to perform reconciliations and generate reports
collaborating closely with team members to resolve any financial issues that arise
supporting month-end close through accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements:
3 years minimum with a degree in Accounting or Finance
excellent Excel skills including Pivot tables
performing daily reconciliation of multiple bank accounts (operating and client-specific accounts)
monitoring and matching cash activity including ACH, wires and checks
investigating and resolving discrepancies with urgency and ownership
reconciling payroll funding to ensure alignment between client debits
maintaining clear documentation and audit trails for all reconciliation activity
partnering with Tax and Finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes
identifying trends and gaps and opportunities to strengthen financial controls
