Job Description:

The Client Coverage Delivery analyst position is under the Citigroup wide Client Analytics & Lead Finance Officer team. This team is focused on enhancing the client management dimension across all of Citi and for delivering timely and accurate client financials and providing insight into client segment performance. This role is responsible for defining, building, and distributing client financials to the firms’ stakeholders and will work closely with the business teams and finance partners to create a single truth of client financials across the firm. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proven ability to work together with multiple stakeholders across Client, Cluster, International and Scorecards team. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment without close supervision and with colleagues who may not be in the same geographic location. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, Cluster performance packs, EMT dashboard, Country visit packs, defining / managing Scorecard metrics, Bi-weekly management updates. The team also works closely with technology on automating BAU requirements through Tableau dashboards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver both ongoing and ad hoc analysis including client metrics for quarterly and monthly business reviews to facilitate decision making
  • Undertake end-end ownership of infrastructure and reporting
  • Propose new ways through advanced tools / ideas to reduce production time and enhance analytics
  • Provide analytics on scorecards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Digitize data in visualization tools to allow self-service of standard financial content
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on topics for definitions of standard client financials
  • Work closely with key partners across teams to help navigate client financials system (CIW), giving walkthrough of the analytics shared and supporting any queries on Scorecard client metrics
  • Support broader team in preparing presentation for BAU and adhoc review materials
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

  • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in accounting and /or finance, specifically FP&A
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree required or equivalent experience
  • Chartered Accountant and MBA graduate - preferred
