As FP&A Lead, you’ll be at the centre of Kensa’s financial planning and strategic insight. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and performance reporting while working with senior stakeholders across the organisation. Your work will directly influence decision-making, support strategic initiatives such as M&A and fundraising, and enhance how we communicate performance to leadership and investors.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the annual budgeting process and partner with senior management throughout planning cycles
Own ongoing forecasting and support business leaders in understanding performance against targets
Build and evaluate key sensitivities, scenarios, and “what-if” analyses
Support the assessment of potential M&A opportunities and contribute to upcoming fundraising activity
Own and develop financial models, providing recommendations for improvements
Partner with senior leaders to shape financial decisions, including pricing and go/no-go decisions for new projects and investments
Enhance business MI and develop more effective performance reporting tools
Use BI tools (e.g., Power BI or similar) to improve reporting depth, speed, and visibility of financial insights
Prepare management briefings, dashboards, and Board-level presentations
Requirements:
Proven FP&A experience in a fast-moving or growth-stage environment
Professional accounting qualification (or equivalent experience)
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Experience using BI tools to elevate reporting and insights
Ability to present financial information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders
A collaborative, proactive approach and confidence partnering with senior leaders
A mindset focused on continuous improvement and driving positive change
Experience of costing models, Including calculations of standard costs, bill of materials, product margins, under/over recoveries
