Job Description:

As a FP&A Operations Analyst you will report directly to the Head of FP&A Mexico and play an integral role in the team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor, analyze and explain operational cost variances (by business unit, cost center, project or location), highlighting improvement opportunities and risks
  • Manage monthly cost closing activities
  • Build and maintain cost models, “what-if” scenarios, forecasts and recurring reports to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize cost indicators, process efficiency and productivity
  • Work collaboratively with operations, shared services, accounting and other support areas to ensure data consistency, integrity and compliance with closing processes
  • Present results, insights and recommendations in English to stakeholders, including local leadership and global teams
  • Identify and propose process improvements, automation initiatives, data governance practices and reporting structures that enhance FP&A efficiency and analytical quality
  • Support the team throughout the budgeting cycle, forecast reviews and cost-saving or operational cost optimization initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience in FP&A, controlling or operational finance, with a strong focus on operational costs
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development, data visualization and interactive reporting
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), capable of preparing reports and presentations for international audiences
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with databases, ERPs or cost analysis support systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ERP system implementations (SAP, S4HANA, Totvs, etc.)
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics or large-scale operational environments
  • Knowledge of driver-based costing, lean cost management or report automation
  • Experience working in global or multinational FP&A teams
