Job Description:

My client is currently looking for a Financial Planner to join them in their Newcastle under Lyme office. This is a national IFA with a strong presence in the Midlands. Due to an acquisition, there is a healthy book of long standing clients for the successful candidate.

Requirements:

  • Provide an efficient, high quality and compliant service to our clients
  • Deliver a full customer service in a professional, timely and efficient manner
  • Keep up to date with new product, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace
  • Gather sufficient client information and identify client needs for new clients
  • Complete client reviews within required timescales to appropriate standard for existing clients
  • Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations across investments, pensions, estate planning and protection
  • Complete all supporting documentation in an accurate manner
  • Maintain performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the Training and Competence procedures
  • Via self-assessment and feedback, identify Continuing Professional Development (CPD) needs to maintain and enhance Competent status and undertake appropriate activity to meet those needs
