Job Description:

We are looking for a Financial Partnerships Manager to join our team to shape and build Ramp's international and cross border payment strategy. You will help Ramp expand and deepen our partnerships with banks, fintechs, & card networks to grow our global capabilities across all of our financial products including cards, payments, and treasury. You will play a critical role in i) expanding our customer base globally and ii) expanding our product set to existing customers by bringing them local financial services in new markets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the entire deal process, from vetting the right partners, negotiating commercial terms, getting internal buy-in, navigating compliance/regulatory approvals, and GTM support after launching the partnership
  • Help Ramp navigate compliance and regulatory frameworks as we add new payment rails and enter new markets in conjunction with internal/external legal support, bank partners, regulators
  • Ensure the success of your partnerships by defining KPIs and growth targets with the product team by which we will measure success
  • Collaborate with our partners to identify and develop new product offerings to drive industry leadership and unlock new business opportunities
  • Negotiate amendments and renewals to contracts as the partnerships grow and evolve with changing business priorities on both Ramp and the partners' side

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Consulting, Investing, Banking or Product Management
  • Experience in payments, treasury, or banking with a focus on international or cross-border payments
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, organization, and good product sense
  • Drive to execute with speed
  • Strong collaborator who can build relationships across the company internally and with partners
  • Strong negotiation skills, with an emphasis on driving partner value
  • Be willing to travel internationally, as needed
