Financial Operations Senior Supervisor - Plant Controllership

• Lead and oversee manufacturing cost accounting activities, including standard costing, actual costing, cost runs, and cost variance analysis
• Maintain and validate key costing elements such as BOMs, routings, cost sheets, cost centers, labor rates, and overhead rates in partnership with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams
• Supervise the monthly cost close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear explanations of variances related to efficiency, volume, mix, absorption, and manufacturing performance
• Prepare and communicate financial bridges versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Support plant controllership activities, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, SOX controls, internal control requirements, and audit standards
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, and Operations teams to analyze margins, productivity, conversion costs, capacity, inventory performance, scrap, rework, waste, and cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate plant budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs, plant expenses, volume assumptions, capacity scenarios, and sensitivity analysis
• Monitor inventory valuation, physical-to-book differences, inventory adjustments, and audit findings to support accurate reporting and strong financial controls
• Identify process improvement opportunities and quantify financial impacts to support operational efficiency and working capital optimization
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of cost analysts, ensuring strong technical execution, accountability, and continuous development
• Act as a finance business partner to the plant leadership team by bringing financial discipline, analytical thinking, and fact-based recommendations to operational discussions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, plant controlling, or similar finance roles within a manufacturing environment
• Advanced English level, with the ability to communicate effectively with regional and global stakeholders
• Previous people leadership experience is required
• minimum 1–2 years leading, coaching, or supervising a team
• Strong understanding of standard costing, cost variances, inventory valuation, manufacturing costs, internal controls, and audit processes
• Advanced Excel skills are required, including strong data analysis, financial modeling, reconciliations, pivot tables, lookups, and large data set management
• Experience working with ERP systems
• SAP S/4HANA experience is highly preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes, connect operational drivers to financial results, and provide actionable recommendations
• Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and practical way to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong sense of urgency, ownership, integrity, and discipline in financial controls and compliance

SAP S/4HANA experience is highly preferred
