Financial Operations (FinOps) Analyst Remote in Colombia 6-month contract with strong potential for conversion to full-time A high-growth, US-headquartered fintech is looking to hire a Financial Operations (FinOps) Analyst to support global finance operations. This is a hands-on, junior-to-mid level "jack of all trades" role, sitting across treasury, reporting, tax coordination, and process optimization. The position will initially be a 6-month contract (full-time) with strong potential to convert into a permanent hire, particularly as the business establishes its Colombian entity and broader LATAM presence.

Job Responsibility

  • Own daily oversight of ~30 treasury accounts, including cash tracking and reporting
  • Build and maintain cash visibility dashboards (including API integrations where possible)
  • Coordinate with external providers across tax, accounting, and reporting, ensuring delivery against timelines
  • Manage investor reporting across multiple platforms and direct communications
  • Monitor tax filings, payments, and regulatory obligations (via external advisors)
  • Supporting automation of manual finance processes (data extraction, reconciliation, reporting workflows)
  • Document and standardize processes (e.g. via Confluence), driving efficiency improvements
  • Assist with AP/AR, reconciliations, and general finance operations as required

Requirements

  • 2–5 years’ experience in finance / accounting / financial operations
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes (treasury, reconciliations, reporting)
  • Comfortable operating in a broad, unstructured, high-growth environment
  • Exposure to data tools (SQL, Python, APIs, Claude) is a strong advantage
  • ERP experience preferred (e.g. NetSuite), but not essential
  • Self-starter mindset with ability to own and improve processes end-to-end
  • Colombian-based (preferred) to support upcoming local entity setup
