Job Description

As the Balance and Control Analyst within the Financial Operations team, your mandate is to ensure that all financial transactions (customer and non customer impacting) are adequately reconciled and appropriately ledgered in the company’s books and records. You will work closely with a broad group of cross-functional stakeholders, especially Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Customer Operations working on a variety of new product features and internal processes. This role reports to the Manager of Balance and Controls.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing reconciliation framework for new products, product enhancements
  • Support the scaling of existing products by automating existing manual reconciliations
  • Serve as reconciliation subject matter expert on cross functional teams in the development and launching of new products
  • Work alongside product finance, product control and banking partners to accurately reflect company income and expenses
  • Manage daily reconciliation across all products and money movement channels and resolve any exceptions within SLA

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in reconciliations, finance, accounting or other closely related role(s)
  • Good understanding of consumer products (checking, lending and cards) a plus
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and SQL a plus
