The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity and is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join the Air Dominance Proprietary team located in Berkeley, MO. Financial Operations professionals will support the creation and management of the program's budget baseline, analyze financial data including Earned Value Management (EVM) data, and provide insights to improve financial performance. These roles require strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee analysis of financial data and the preparation of reports to aid decision-making and budget monitoring
Review of EVM data to identify performance trends and support month-end and quarterly closing activities
Assess business opportunities and risks, assist with presentations for senior management, and maintain compliance with internal controls and policies
Partner with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leaders to manage cost and schedule baseline, and support key processes such as the Estimate to Complete, risk and opportunity identification, Variance Analysis Reports and recovery plans
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
3+ years of experience in a Finance related role such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis
3+ years of experience with financial forecasting and budget creation
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
Nice to have:
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to apply knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics and best practices
Ability to effectively communicate and use interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
