An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Officer / Administrator to join a warm and well-resourced SEND Primary School on a temporary full-time basis. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with school finance experience, ideally familiar with FMS and SIMS, to support the school’s business operations team. This is a term-time only position, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy school environment and enjoys providing vital support behind the scenes.
Job Responsibility:
Managing day-to-day financial administration including orders, invoices, and budget tracking
Supporting with financial data entry and reporting via FMS
Maintaining accurate pupil and school records using SIMS
Assisting with registers, attendance updates, and pupil data management
Providing general administrative assistance to ensure smooth operation of the school office
Requirements:
Previous experience in a school administrative or finance role
Strong knowledge of FMS and SIMS systems (essential/preferable)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to support across different office functions
