strong understanding of PCP agreements and financial mis-selling matters

Job Responsibility

Evaluating and progressing financial mis-selling claims, particularly PCP and car finance commission disputes
managing claims through all stages, including complaints to FCA members, brokers, the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), FSCS, and issuing proceedings where necessary
handling all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, track allocation, disclosure, witness exchange, instructing counsel, and trial preparation
maintaining accurate client records and communication through the firm’s case management system
providing informal training and guidance to junior colleagues, including paralegals and new litigators
ensuring all work is compliant with relevant legal standards and FCA regulations
supporting a collaborative team environment, contributing to knowledge sharing and strategic case planning.
