Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Incentive Programme Lead who will oversee the end‑to‑end financial operations of Microsoft incentive programmes for Vodafone. This position places strong emphasis on financial governance, claims accuracy, contractual compliance and audit readiness. The individual will act as a financial subject matter expert, ensuring robust processes, compliant documentation, precise reporting and alignment with accounting standards. The role also requires a foundational level of legal understanding to interpret contractual obligations, proof‑of‑execution requirements and partner programme terms.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the financial operations of Microsoft incentive programmes, ensuring accurate calculations, claims, reporting and payment follow‑up
  • Translate contractual terms, proof‑of‑execution requirements and incentive criteria into compliant processes for operational teams
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of incentive claims, including validation, submission, tracking and resolution of discrepancies
  • Deliver precise financial reports, performance analytics and insights to internal stakeholders
  • Support and coordinate internal and external audits related to incentive management, ensuring availability of documentation and alignment with audit standards
  • Work closely with Group Finance to maintain compliance with Vodafone policies, SOX controls, IFRS principles and internal governance frameworks
  • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with programme management
  • Recommend process improvements, standardisation and system enhancements to ensure efficiency and financial accuracy
  • Lead and guide team members involved in incentive‑related financial operations, offering clear direction and structured coaching
  • Maintain financial oversight of partner programme eligibility, onboarding verification and contractual compliance

Requirements

  • Experience in finance operations, controlling, incentivisation processes or partner financial management
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal control frameworks
  • SOX and IFRS exposure is beneficial
  • Ability to interpret contractual terms and apply them to financial and operational processes
  • Skilled in analysing financial data, presenting insights and managing complex documentation
  • Proactive, structured and comfortable working with incomplete data sets
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of O365 applications
  • Experience collaborating in virtual or international environments, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
