Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Entry Analyst to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support finance and accounting operations by accurately entering, reviewing, and maintaining financial data in internal systems and spreadsheets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, analytical, and interested in building a career in finance or accounting.

Job Responsibility

  • Enter and update financial and accounting data with a high level of accuracy
  • Review invoices, transactions, and records for completeness and discrepancies
  • Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and financial reporting tools
  • Assist with account reconciliations and data validation
  • Support billing, payroll, and accounts payable/accounts receivable processes
  • Generate routine reports for finance and accounting teams
  • Communicate with internal departments to resolve data issues
  • Follow established procedures for confidentiality, compliance, and recordkeeping

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of accounting or financial processes preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and working with structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems, banking platforms, or other financial software used to review and manage transactional data.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess information, identify exceptions, and make sound decisions based on available evidence.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry in high-volume environments with close attention to numeric detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a deadline-driven setting.
