Job Description

The Financial Data Analyst position focuses on financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities that support the company's corporate and operational decision-making. The role involves analyzing actual financial results, building financial models, and producing management reports with meaningful insights. This role works across multiple data sources and business units to evaluate financial performance, identify trends and risks, support cost optimization initiatives, and contribute to competitive and industry analyses. The Financial Analyst collaborates closely with Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Payment Operations, and executive stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial analysis.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and highlight areas for improvement
  • Interpret and communicate commercial data, including sales, margin, and market trends, to assist with strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to assess profitability of products, business segments, and projects
  • Prepare insightful dashboards and visualizations to present performance and commercial analytics to stakeholders
  • Prepare and support the delivery of monthly management reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and analytical depth
  • Perform data analysis and financial deep dives to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Ensure consistency and quality of reporting to enable focused discussion on key financial topics
  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of reporting processes and tools
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess corporate, subsidiary, and competitive performance
  • Perform scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analyses under different operating assumptions
  • Support strategic initiatives, investment evaluations, and business cases with structured financial modeling
  • Develop analyses and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Support competitive and market analyses, including benchmarking of KPIs within the FinTech industry
  • Identify efficiency improvements and profitability drivers across the organization
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to Operating Units, Treasury, Executive Management, and other functional areas
  • Collaborate closely with Finance team members, including Financial Analysts, Treasury, Accounting, Payment Operations, and the Head of Finance, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of analysis
  • Prepare presentations and materials to support management and executive decision-making

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles
  • General understanding of financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL, or strong willingness to learn quickly, is considered an advantage
  • Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Proactive mindset with strong curiosity and eagerness to develop analytical skills
  • Highly collaborative and effective team player
  • Comfortable working across functions and managing multiple priorities
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field

Nice to have

  • CFA, ACCA, CIMA certification would be considered a strong advantage
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL, or strong willingness to learn quickly, is considered an advantage
