Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Controls Analyst to consult with business lines on financial reporting and IT governance, identify compliance requirements, provide oversight for testing, and implement governance frameworks.

Job Responsibility:

Consult with line of business and enterprise functions on financial reporting or IT governance
Identify compliance and risk management requirements
Provide oversight for testing and monitoring
Communicate regularly with stakeholders
Implement, operate, and report results of policy, governance and oversight framework
Support implementation of projects and initiatives
Provide meaningful assessments of IT control environments
Assess adherence to COSO based policies for IT controls
Monitor new internal control related guidance
Provide consultation on process and IT control related matters
Lead IT Application Controls (ITACs) COSO test work
Partner with IT and business Process Owners to document processes
Perform walkthroughs of significant processes
Create process risk assessments
Perform COSO testing of key application controls
Validate and challenge documentation of application control deficiencies
Analyze severity of application control deficiencies
Validate corrective actions
Build relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience
Bachelor's/Post graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Experience in one or a combination of: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory agencies: Federal Reserve and OCC
Minimum two years at Big Four/super regional public accounting firm with experience in IT audit and/or IT SoX advisory/consulting service
Prefer one or more certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP
Practical experience performing IT audit/IT COSO application control testing
Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo
Strong relationship management skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Intermediate Microsoft Visio skills
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and achieve goals under pressure
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

Nice to have:

Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Designation
