We are currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy, based at Lanseria International Airport. The main objective of the position is to manage and control the financial activities related to aircraft management portfolios, ensuring accurate reporting, billing, reconciliations and client account management. The role supports operational teams and aircraft owners with timely, accurate and transparent financial information, while ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual and regulatory obligations.
Job Responsibility
Monthly reports to aircraft owners
Aircraft flight reports
Monthly pro-forma invoices to aircraft owners
Reconciliation of monthly accounts and correspondence with aircraft owners
Coordination of insurance, crew salaries
Cost recovery and gross margin control
Reporting & financial controls
Administrative and document control
Cashflow & banking support
Statutory & SARS support
Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager
Requirements
BCom (Accounting) or equivalent finance qualification
Honours BCom (Accounting)
CA(SA)/ ACCA CGMA (advantage)
5–8 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably within a service-based and/or regulated environment
Experience supporting financial reporting and reconciliations across multiple accounts/portfolios
Working knowledge of accounting systems/ERP and Microsoft Office
Experience in aviation/aircraft management, charter operations or similar environment (advantage)
