Financial Controller

• Lead all financial operations including reporting, cash flow, and capital planning
• Manage the outcomes of Business Unit budgets
• Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial information to the CFO and senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB), funding requirements, taxation, and grant/contract obligations
• Identify financial and operational risks, implement robust internal controls, and drive process improvements
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering capability, accountability, and excellence
• Partner with business leaders to optimise resource allocation, manage costs, and support sustainable growth

• CPA or CA qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 7–10 years of progressive financial management experience in multi-site or complex organisations
• Strong knowledge of AASB, payroll tax, FBT, GST, funding compliance, and risk management
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• Eligible to hold Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check

Experience in Human Services, Healthcare, Disability or Child Safety will be highly regarded
