  • Processing stock movements and cost-of-sale calculations
  • Overseeing payroll processes and liaising with the external payroll provider
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable activities
  • Handling financial elements of grant-funded R&D projects
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and researching technical issues where required
  • Managing HMRC reporting, submissions and tax compliance
  • Developing and maintaining finance processes, policies and internal controls
  • Supporting gross margin analysis and the financial assessment of revenue models

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Experience gained from either practice or industry
  • Good grounding in accounts preparation, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to give confidence in the numbers
  • Ability to take ownership of the full finance function
What we offer:
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Cycle to Work scheme
