Job Responsibility:
Supporting the Divisional Financial Manager with a variety of financial and commercial workstreams based on evolving business needs.
Analysing areas of commercial underperformance and providing actionable recommendations to improve results.
Identifying and addressing areas of non-compliance, ensuring processes and controls are followed effectively.
Partnering closely with operational teams to understand challenges and develop practical, commercially focused solutions.
Reviewing uptake and performance across the division, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Preparing and calculating client-facing documents accurately and clearly.
Producing financial analysis, reports, and insights to support decision-making and drive business performance.
Supporting and coaching colleagues, helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a finance, commercial analysis, or financial control role.
Strong analytical and accounting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to confidently influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance teams.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to support and coach others.
AAT qualified or actively studying towards a finance/accounting qualification.
Experience delivering insights that improve commercial and operational performance would be highly advantageous.
