Job Description:

The Finance Controller is the Commercial Finance Business Partner to the President of the Region. Under the Controller Function the Financed Controller is responsible for the following areas: Budgeting & Business Planning, Rolling forecast, Sales Planning, Open to buy and Costs & Inventory Management, Business analysis and Control, Business reporting. The Finance Controller will play an integral part of the management team of the region.

Job Responsibility:

Business partner to the Regional President
Review and analyze business performance for the entire region and proactively recommend actions to improve sustainable profitability
Analyze and implement cost controls and expenses to guide business leaders
Analyze financial statements to highlight potential weak areas, and driving risk management
Conduct business feasibility reviews and analysis so as to provide advice to management on financial implications of major business decisions/strategies
Support and ensure worldwide compliance with the organization’s financial policies and procedures and internal control systems
Develop and implement effective and efficient business planning procedures for the region
Consolidate individual market business plans for the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial reports
Oversee the approval and processing of all CAPEX investments and its mobilization
Identify opportunities for efficient inventory management across the Region to deliver Region Inventory Goals
Identify and share functional best practices across the Region
Ensure alignment, support and resource allocation across markets for the successful implementation of global systems

Requirements:

Proficient in English and Japanese, written and spoken
5-7 years of relevant experience in finance control with multi geographical accountabilities
Have managed teams both locally and virtually
