Job Responsibility

  • Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and enforce policies to manage financial risk, ensure accuracy, and meet regulatory requirements
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the budget process, track variances, and provide financial forecasting for strategic planning
  • Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and manage the accounting and finance team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or MBA is highly preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with prior management or supervisory experience
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial software (e.g., ERP systems), and advanced Excel
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, leadership, and communication skills

  • Maintain and enforce group accounting policies
  • Ensure compliance with taxation requirements including GST, PAYG, Payroll tax and Income tax provisions
  • Identify and mitigate financial risk across the business
