Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Financial Controller who wants to work in a global and growth-oriented company with the opportunity to make their mark, and who can help influence, strengthen and develop the controlling area at IKEA DK.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries and reconciliations
Support and educate the business with setting up and maintaining financial structures
Participate in business performance follow-up
Prepare annual accounts and audit material
Maintain effective internal controls
Participate in various projects and ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

Relevant financial background (e.g., HD Accountancy, cand.merc.aud)
At least 5 years’ experience as a financial controller in a large company
Experience in an international company is preferred
Experience interpreting accounting rules and legislation
Good collaboration skills
Ability to communicate financial and accounting key figures clearly
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel
SAP knowledge is a plus
Fluent in Danish and English
